Head of IHEC, US delegation discuss preparations for next PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Sarbast Mustafa, discussed with a delegation of the US Embassy in Baghdad, the preparations of the IHEC for holding the next elections for the provincial councils.

A statement by the IHEC received by IraqiNews.com “The meeting was presented by Antony Jeaofry, the advisor for the political affairs and Scott Roofman, the head of the political department in the US Embassy where they discussed the preparations of the IHEC for holding the next PC elections and stressed the necessity of inviting the international observation teams in the elections.”
