HESRM grants universities’ presidents power to move professors

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ghaida Kambash, member of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, stressed that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research granted the presidents of the universities the authority to move the instructors to other universities.

Kambash stated to Iraqi News “The power of moving the universities’ professors was restricted to the Minister of HESR only.”

She added “The acceptance of the students in the universities was expended as well through opening the evening studies at all the state and private universities in addition to decrease the study fees of the evening universities and increase the instructors’ salaries.”
