Holding Cabinet’s session in Anbar to help melt tensions, says Alwani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Thamir al-Alwani of Anbar province confirmed that The holding of the Council of Ministers session in the province will help calm down the tensions and create democratic atmosphere prior to the local elections.”

Some political blocs had called the government to hold the cabinet’s regular session in the provinces that are witnessing protests.

Alwani stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Anbar needs this session to calm down the tensed situation in the province especially the province is going to conduct the upcoming local elections.”

“The CoM should work on resolving the political problems and achieve the demonstrators’ demands in the province,” he stressed.
