HR Minister calls to provide Iraq with Anti-Terrorism programme adopted by some countries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Human Rights, Mohamed al-Sudani, called, during the workshop of the Anti-Terrorism Methods held in Geneva, to provide Iraq with Anti-Terrorism programme adopted by some countries so as to take advantage of it in Iraq’s programme for combating terrorism.”

A statement by the HR Ministry reported on Wednesday “Sudani and his accompanying delegation have attended the Counter-Terrorism methods workshop that was organized by the Special Rappateur of the HR Promotion and Protection in cooperation with the Permanent Consulate of Iraq in Geneva within the activities of the 22nd round of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.”

“The workshop tackled the reasons that contribute in the promotion for terrorism and the efforts of the civil society organizations in offering notions that may lead to drying up the sources of terrorism,” the statement concluded.
