IHEC approves candidates of political blocs for Kurdistan Region elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced the approval of the candidates of the political blocs for the elections of Kurdistan Region.

A statement by the IHEC received by IraqiNews.com cited “The IHEC approved 1129 candidates of the political blocs that will participate in the elections where the names will be announced on Tuesday.”

“The electoral propaganda will start on Thursday and finish 48 hours before the elections day according to the Article 25 of the Elections Law of Kurdistan Region in 1992,” the statement concluded.
