IHEC in Dhi-Qar announces completing preparations for holding next elections

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission in Dhi-Qar province announced completing the preparations for holding the next elections.

The Director of the Technical Department within the IHEC in Dhi-Qar, Mohammed al-Rubaiye, stated to IraqiNews.com “The IHEC completed all the procedures for holding the next elections where more than 910 thousand electoral E-cards were distributed which means that 85%.”

“The IHEC stopped distributing the E-cards in order to wait for the official notification by the IHEC in Baghdad over the extension for the period for five more days,” he concluded.
