IHEC: Ratio of activating electors’ records increases 110%

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced that the ratio of activating the electors’ records has increased to 110% in the second week of starting the activating process.

The Director General of the Operations Department within the IHEC, Walid al-Zaiydi, stated “The first week of activating the electors’ records witnesses activating 38,000 electoral records, but the ratio increased in the second week to be 110 %.”

He attributed “The increase of the ratio to the efforts of the IHEC in urging the electors to activate their records and spreading teams in the rural areas to conduct this process.”
