INA announces resuming distributing salaries of retired members of local councils

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance announced that the salaries of the retired members of the local councils will be resumed after canceling Article 40 of the General Budget.

In a press statement received, MP, Awad al-Awadi, stated “The retirement salaries will be paid for the retired members of the local councils,” pointing out “Those salaries were stopped and were not cancelled.”

“The parliament set conditions and adjustments to those salaries that prevent the involvement of the forgers to be included,” he added.

The parliament voted on canceling Article 40 of the general budget of 2012 in its session of Saturday.
