(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A parliamentary source informed today that Iran has unveiled plans of stronger cooperation with Iraq in the fight against terrorism. The announcement was made in Tehran today during a press conference, which was jointly addressed by Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani and Iraqi Parliamentary Speaker Salim al-Jabouri.

“The two Speakers discussed on wide range of issues during their meeting today morning in Tehran. Methods of counter terrorism in the region, especially in Iraq, were the most important issue that the duo discussed,” informed the source.

Adding further and quoting Larijani, the source said, “Jabouri also talked about the expansion of trade ties and said that both nations seek a jump in bilateral trade by removing the existing obstacles.”

It may me mentioned here that Jabouri arrived in Tehran on Saturday morning for talks with senior Iranian officials on the latest situation in Iraq.
