Iran FM condemns violence in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mahma Nibrist, stressed his country’s support for Iraq’ government and people in taking the suitable mechanism to combat terrorism.

A statement by the Iranian FM cited “Nibrist expressed his trust in the ability of the Iraqi people and the officials in confronting the violence and defend Iraq’s sovereignty against the plots being interwoven by the country’s enemies.”

He extended “his condolences for the families of the victims, stressing the necessity of the Iraqi political forces’ adherence to the dialogue to prevent the foreign interventions.”
