Iraq, KSA conduct deal over exchanging prisoners

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conducted a deal over exchanging the prisoners in the two countries.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated on Thursday “The Saudi Interior Minister, Mohammed Bin Nayif Bin Abdul al-Aziz, received the Undersecretary of the Iraqi Interior Minister, Adnan al-Asadi, and the accompanied delegation where they discussed forming a joint committee to meet in Riyadh monthly to discuss exchanging the detainees between the two countries.”

“The two sides assured the necessity of activating the cooperation pact between the two countries,” the Agency added, noting that “??he two sides have also discussed the security issues and the need of improving them to achieve the security stability in the two countries.”

“The meeting was attended by the Saudi Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, Ahmed Bin Mohammed al-Salim and the Iraqi Ambassador to KSA, Ghanim al-Jumaili in addition to some Saudi security officials,” the statement concluded.

Asadi arrived to KSA on last Monday to discuss the security issues between the two sides.
