Iraqi Cabinet decides to form ministerial commission to receive demonstrators’ demand s

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided during its regular session of Tuesday to form ministerial commission to receive the legitimate demands of the demonstrators and classify them according to the specializations of the concerned sides.

A statement by the CoM cited on Tuesday “The Iraqi Cabinet decided during Tuesday session to from ministerial commission headed by the deputy prime minister and membership of a number of officials from different ministries to receive the demands of the demonstrators.”

“The Council of Ministers called the demonstrators to select committees to hand over their demands either to the provincial councils or to the ministerial commission directly,” the statement added.

Anbar, Mosul and Salah il-Din provinces witness continuous demonstrations and sit-ins for two weeks, demanding the release of the guards of the Finance Minister in addition to canceling the article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law and the Accountability & Justice Law.
