Iraqi Government intends to conclude armament deals with S. Korea, says MP
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition revealed the Government’s intention to contract with South Korean Companies for armament deals.
MP Maliki cited that “The Government is determined to keep the armament deal concluded earlier with Russia after changing the previous commission which was tasked to conclude the contract and replace it with new commission.”
“The new commission changed the quality of the weapons that are included within the deal due to suspensions of corruption accompanying the deal with Russia,” he added.
Maliki announced that “the Government intends to negotiate with other foreign companies to conclude contracts of armament deals including S. Korean companies.”
