Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate announced that its MPs will not attend the regular sessions of the Parliament except those related to the request of withdrawing confidence from the Government and meeting the demonstrators’ demands.

A statement by the IS recited by MP Salman al-Jumaili in a press conference held on Saturday reported that “The parliamentary Iraqiya bloc decided not to attend the parliament’s regular sessions except those associated with withdrawing confidence from the Government or those related to discussing ratification of the laws that serve meeting the demonstrators’ demands.”

“The IS calls on all the political blocs to adopt their national responsibility in standing against the oppression and support the justice and democracy principles and meet the legitimate demands of the masses,” the statement concluded.
