IS MP rules out holding urgent parliament session on Sunday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mudhhir al-Janabi, of the Iraqiya Slate ruled out holding the urgent parliament session that was supposed to be held on next Sunday due to the suspension of the State of Law Coalition from attending it.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday, he said “The urgent session of Sunday will have the successful settlement to the demands of the demonstrators that should be settled as soon as possible due to their unexpected consequences,” noting that “This session will be a test for those who want to achieve reformation in Iraq.”

“I do not think that the session will be held because the MPs of the SLC will not attend it and it is one of the main sides in the current situation,” he pointed out, expressing his hope over “Holding the session in presence of all the political blocs to achieve solutions to the current crisis in Iraq.”
