Jaafary, Hakim discuss INA role in settling current crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, met the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, at the latter’s office in Baghdad.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Both sides discussed the political updates and INA role in settling the current political crisis.”

“Hakim confirmed the importance of reducing the tension and avoiding the escalation in addition to the adherence to the legal procedures to solve the disputes,” the statement concluded.
