Jaafary, Kuwaiti Ambassador discuss consolidating bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Ali al-Mumen, discussed consolidating bilateral economic and security relations between the two countries.

A statement by Jaafary’s website cited “Jaafary received Mumen at his office in Baghdad on Sunday.”

“Jaafary indicated the depth of the strategic and historical relations between the two countries, stressing the necessity of coordinating the efforts between the two countries to accomplish the joint interests,” the statement added.

“For his part, the Ambassador emphasized the Kuwaiti support for Iraqis confirming the importance of eliminating the impediments that hinder the cooperation between the two countries,” the statement concluded.
