Jaafary urges Turkey to play positive role in region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, confirmed Turkey’s vital role to take part in keeping on good-neighborly relations and giving priority to the mutual interests between Iraq and Turkey.

A statement by Jaafary’s office reported “Jaafary received on Thursday the charge d’affaires of the Turkish embassy in Baghdad, Aafa Gilan, where they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries.”

Jaafary highlighted Turkey’s important role in emphasizing for good-neighborly relations and maintaining balanced policy with Iraq and the regional countries without interfering in the other countries’ affairs.”
