Jaf rules out holding national meeting under current updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, of the Kurdistani Alliance ruled out holding the national meeting under the current developments.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “According to the current escalation in the political scene and the tensed stances of the political blocs due to the lack of the accord, there is no indication over settling the crisis.”

“The President, Jalal Talabani, is exerting intensive efforts to solve the crisis yet the political blocs do not have real intentions to settle it,” she added.

“The national meeting will not be held if the blocs adhered to their tensed stances,” she concluded.
