Jaf threatens to investigate Education Minister over latest employments in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Burhan al-Jaf, the member of the Parliamentary Education Committee threatened to investigate the Education Minister, Mohammed Timim over the latest employments in Kirkuk province.

Jaf stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “100 employment degrees were assigned to the Kurdish community, but it did not get all of them.”

“The Committee held a meeting in presence of the Kurdish MPs, with the representative of the Education Ministry where an agreement were signed over modifying the employment degrees, but it is not applied yet where the Ministry did not respect it,” the statement added.

Jaf called “The Ministry to reconsider that agreement otherwise all the employments will be canceled in Kirkuk and the Minister will be investigated in the parliament,” he concluded.

Earlier, the local government of Kirkuk province accused Timim of being “Sectarian over the approval of certain people,” criticizing the mechanism of approving the requests.
