Jundiyani: Two delegations of PUK to visit Iran, Turkey soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, intends to send two delegations to visit Iran and Turkey.

A statement by the PUK received by IraqiNews.com quoted the spokesperson of the PUK, Azad Jundiyani, as saying “Two delegations of the PUK will visit Iran and Turkey soon,” without explaining the purpose of the visits.

“The meeting of the PUK which was held last week, resulted in forming two committees,” he added, noting that “The first committee will supervise the pending issues with Baghdad and will be supervised by Barham Salih, whereas the second committee will discuss the issues related to Kirkuk and the other Kurdistani areas out of Kurdistan Region and will be supervised by Kirkuk Governor, Najim al-Din Karim.”

“The latest meeting of the PUK stressed on having one Kurdistani bloc regarding the Iraqi issues,” he concluded.
