KA: Crisis between Kurdistan Region, CG not to be settled before settling military tensions

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistani Alliance ruled out settling the crisis between Kurdistan Region and the Central Government before settling the military tensions in the disputed areas.

The spokesperson of the Kurdistan Region, Muaed al-Tayib, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Without settling the military tensions in the disputed areas, we cannot move a step ahead to settle the current crisis between Kurdistan Region and the CG because forming Dijla Operations Commands increased the crisis and resulted in the current military tensions.”

“Any meeting between the two sides over settling the crisis must be held to settle the military tensions first because the consequences of the military tensions will be unexpected,” he concluded.
