KA rejects reducing Kurdistan Region share of Federal Budget of 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, MP, Azad Abu Bakir, of the Kurdistani Alliance confirmed that Kurdistan Region rejects reducing its share of the Federal Budget of 2013 and does not want to increase it till conducting the general census in Iraq.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The tendency to decrease Kurdistan Region’s share of the Federal Budget is not constitutional or legal till conducting the general census because we want to keep our share as in the former years 17% according to the previous agreements.”

“Among the problems that hinder the endorsement of the budget law is the dues of the foreign oil companies working in Kurdistan Region and we are working on involving them in the budget law,” he added.
