Khuzayi to Swedish Ambassador: Terrorism not hinder conducting elections on time

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, confirmed that terrorism will not hinder Iraqis from conducting the elections on time.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi received the Swedish Ambassador in Baghdad where they discussed the political updates and bilateral relations.”

“Khuzayi assured that the security forces will fight against terrorism but it needs the support of other countries,” the statement added.

“The Ambassador expressed his country’s support for the political process in Iraq and the intention of the Swedish companies to work in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
