KRG condemns Kirkuk bombings

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Regional Government condemned the bombings that targeted the citizens in Kirkuk province on Wednesday.

A statement by the KRG received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “A number of bombings took place in Kirkuk province targeted the security and political headquarters and resulted in killing and injuring 200 civilians.”

“We do denounce such criminal and brutal actions and condole the families of the victims,” the statement added, calling the “Governmental institutions in Kurdistan Region to increase the efforts to aid the injured persons and their families.”

KRG also called “The security forces in Kirkuk to quickly reveal the doers of the bombings and the sides that support them.”
