Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the Kurdistani Regional Government will visit Baghdad on next Sunday to continue the negotiations over running the security file in the disputed areas.
On last week, a statement by the Ministry quoted the Secretary General of the Ministry, Brigadier, Jabbar Yawer, as saying “The meetings of the Peshmerga within Kurdistan RegionG and the Ministry of Defense within the Central Government went on years ago so the two sides may hold a meeting next week.”
“This meeting comes in response to the request of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, within the course of the meetings held by the military committees of the two sides,” he added.
“The two sides agreed upon some points while the Kurdistan RegionG delegation will present a proposal of nine points to settle the disputes,” he concluded.
A number of meetings were held between the two sides during the last weeks.
