Kurdistan RegionG identifies 21, Nov date for provincial elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Kurdistan Regional Government identified 21, 11, 2013 a date for the Region’s local elections.

The provincial elections of Kurdistan Region were scheduled on 21, September.

A statement by the Kurdistan RegionG cited “The Kurdistan Region Premier, Najervan Barzani decided to specify 21, 11, 2013 date for conducting the local elections of the Region.”

The Independent High Electoral Commission had called on 18th of past July, the Kurdistan RegionG to postpone the parliament elections and the local elections till next November.
