Erbil (BasNews) Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani met with Iraqi Minister of Planning Salman al-Jumaili in Erbil on Sunday.

Jumaili stated his willingness for any cooperation and coordination with Erbil to bolster the bilateral ties and offering KRG its entitlements, adding that there is a close coordination between the Iraqi and KRG ministries of planning.

He commended KRG for hosting large numbers of Iraqi people who have been displaced to the Kurdistan Region due to the ongoing turmoil in the country.

Barzani said KRG is willing to settle all the suspending issues between Baghdad and Erbil through peaceful dialogue. He noted that there is close coordination between the Iraqi army and Peshmerga in the fight against terrorists, hoping to strengthen the ties in all other sectors.

Barzani reiterated the importance of comprehensive plan for Mosul in the post-Islamic State phase to rebuild trust among all the entities of the city.
