Kurdish MP holds Maliki responsible for Baghdad Sunday bombings

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ruz Nouri, of the Kurdistani Alliance held the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, responsible for the bombings that took place in Baghdad on last Sunday.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The security institution failed in confronting the terrorist attacks and I think the first figure responsible for this failure is Maliki who is the General Commander of the Armed Forces and have all the authorities concerning the security file.”

“The security Ministries and the Iraqi Army Command have not role in running the security file,” he added.

“Among the reasons that participated in allowing the bombings to take place is the lack of intelligence Department that must hinder terrorism,” he concluded.

Baghdad witnessed a series of car bombings that targeted public markets resulted in killing 28 persons and injuring 124 others on last Sunday.
