Kuwait receives 1, 3 USD Billion as compositions from Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Compositions Commission within the United Nations paid 1, 3 USD Billion to Kuwait as compositions over the damages of the 1990 war by the former regime.

A statement by the Commission received by IraqiNews.com cited “The compositions are related to the damages of the oil establishments and the oil income of Kuwait.”

“These compositions will be financed by increasing 5% of the taxes to the sales of the Iraqi oil,” the statement concluded.
