Kuwaiti National Assembly studies proposal to jointly run navigation with Iraq at Khor Abdullah seaport

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Affairs Committee at the Kuwaiti National Assembly, approved the bilateral agreement between Kuwait and Iraq concerning organizing the sea navigation in Khor Abdullah seaport in the Arab Gulf.

The Kuwaiti official (Kona) News Agency reported the Rappateur of the Committee, Taher al-Flikawi, as saying, on Thursday “The Foreign Affairs Committee approved the law proposal of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti bilateral agreement over organizing the maritime navigation at Khor Abdullah seaport where the proposal was submitted to the parliament for vote.”

Earlier, The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation has announced in last April, 30th concluding an agreement with Kuwait to form mutual commission for administration to organize the maritime navigation at Khor Abdullah seaport.
