Larijani affirms support of Iraq

 

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of the Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani renewed Iran’s readiness to support Iraq in confronting terrorism posed by the Islamic State (IS).

Larijani reiterated in a press statement after his meeting with the Vice-President, Nouri al-Maliki, in Tehran today that “What is happening in Iraq from the scramble for the forces of evil on what posed by Iraq of cultural, religious and depth humanist requires that the states of the region and the whole world to mobilize to support Iraq and to support its people against terrorists of the (IS).”

He said “Iran’s support for Iraq is a duty imposed by the principle of humane, neighborhood and Islam, because the (IS) represents a risk not only for Iraqi people, but is expanding to include the entire region.
