Maliki, Belgian Deputy PM discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, discussed with the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister, Dedeer Rineez, the mutual relations and the means of developing them.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday cited “Maliki, during the meeting, stressing the necessity of developing the mutual relations in all fields.”

“Maliki appreciated the decision of the Belgian Government to inaugurate its Consulate in Baghdad in order to inaugurate its embassy later on, expressing the readiness of Iraq to make Belgium make use of the experiments of the Iraqis to Belgium to help in building Belgium.”

“For his part, the Belgian Deputy PM expressed his happiness to visit Iraq, expressing the readiness of his country to develop the bilateral relations to achieve the interests of the peoples of the two countries,” the statement concluded.
