Maliki, Egyptian President discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the Egyptian President, Mohamed Mursi, discussed the means of upgrading bilateral relations between the two countries on Tuesday.

Mursi held the talks with Maliki at the Presidential Hall at Cairo Airport.

Earlier, Maliki arrived at the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the activities of the Islamic Cooperation Organization conference.

Maliki was accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education, Ali al-Adeeb, the Minister of Culture, and the Acting Defense Minister Sadoun al-Dulaimi.”

The 12th round of the Islamic Cooperation Organization conference will be held in Cairo on next Wednesday and will last for couple days.

During the conference Egypt will receive assumption of the conference’s chairmanship for three years after Senegal.
