Maliki and Qais al-Khazali discuss situation in the country

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday evening, an informed source said that the Vice President Nouri al-Maliki met with Secretary General of Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais al-Khazali in Baghdad.

The source explained that al-Maliki and al-Khazali discussed the overall situation in the country, without giving further details.

Iraq is witnessing an extraordinary security situation since the declaration of a state of maximum alert in in June 10, 2014, where the military operations are continuing to expel ISIS from areas it controls, while the international coalition aircrafts continue to strike ISIS sites in different areas.
