Mayahi: Anbar demonstrations aim to create civil war

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc stated that the demonstrations of Anbar and Mosul provinces aim to topple the political process and create civil war to keep the dominance of some known regional countries.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday, he said “The political situation in Iraq witnesses an expected escalation which threatens the political and security situation and the media support is more dangerous than this situation.”

“Anbar demonstrations are having slogans that are considered legitimate, but at the same times there are plans and ideas represent their real aim such as the sectarian slogans, lifting the photos of the former President of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, the Turkish Premier, Recep Tayib Erdogan and the flags of Kurdistan Region and the Free Syrian Army,” he added.

He pointed out “It is necessary to stop such violations that affect the values of the Iraqi people and tribes,” assuring that “It is the duty of the security forces to disperse such sectarian demonstration.”

He stressed the necessity of “The interference of the government in stopping these demonstrations and shutting the sectarian mouths up even by adhering to the military force in addition to reject all the foreign interferences.”
