Mladenov condemns terrorist attack in Erbil

 

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General (SRSG) for Iraq, Mr. Nickolay Mladenov, expressed his outrage following the news of the suicide attack that has resulted in many casualties in front of the Governorate building in the Iraqi Kurdish capital city of Erbil.“I strongly condemn this cowardly act of terrorism and offer my deepest condolences to the families of those affected” said Mr. Mladenov, who is currently in New York, attending the Security Council meeting on Iraq.“I am certain that the resolve of all the peace loving Iraqi people is stronger than any act of terrorism and that peace and tranquility will prevail in the end,” SRSG Mladenov said./End/
