Mosawi: Integrity Committee pressurized over corruption associated to Russian armament deal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee Jafar al-Musawi revealed that “The head of the Committee, Baha al-Araji has been pressurized by a key official, that he did not name, over the corruption issue associated to the armament deal with Russia.”

Musawi mentioned in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Araji is subject to pressures by a key official over the corruption issue associated to the armament deal with Russia.”

Earlier, the Iraqi government decided to re-negotiate with Russia over the armament deal that was canceled due to corruption issues.
