MP expects difficulty in endorsing Re-considering Provinces Borders law in Parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Independent MP, Khalid Rumi, pointed out that “The endorsement of the Re-considering Provinces Borders law will face difficulty in the parliament due to the disputes among the political blocs.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “All the political blocs work on endorsing laws that serve their interests,” noting that “The blocs have a selective method related to the endorsement of laws especially this controversial law.”

“There will be political efforts to endorse laws to gain the public support,” he added.

“All the laws including the simple ones will participate in building the Iraqi State,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the Re-considering Provinces Borders law was presented to the Parliament Chairmanship by the Legal Committee for a vote.
