Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Foreign Committee, Ruz Mahdi Khushnaw, assured that a parliamentary cell was formed to follow up the pact signed between Iraq and Sweden to preserve the rights of the Iraqis and their dignity.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The cell includes members from different parliamentary committees to sole the issues of the Iraqis who were not received by Sweden due to some issues in the procedures.”

“The cell resulted in several decisions such as calling the parliament to modify the pact, that was signed in 2008, or cancel it in addition to fining the airway companies for transporting the passengers by force,” he added, assuring that “The number of the returned passengers is about 8000 person.”

“Some countries exploited this pact and sent the Iraqis whose emigration forms are rejected back to Iraq,” he concluded.
