MP: Funds allocated to Ministry of Trade enough only for 10 months

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussien Resan, of the Economic and Investment Parliamentary Committee revealed that the funds allocated for the Ministry of Trade are enough to cover the needs of Iraq for ten months rather than one year concerning the Ration Card foodstuffs.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Ministry attempts to get rid of the responsibility of this file,” noting that “IT is also unable to provide the Ration Card foodstuffs for one or two months.”

“The actual allocations are not enough for one year but they are covering the needs for ten months though we notice the delay in delivering the foodstuffs for five or six months,” he added.

“We hear about many problems that face the Ministry and the parliament is willing to solve them,” he concluded.
