MP reveals transforming allocations of Ration Card to PCs
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Raysan, of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee revealed that the allocations of the Ration Card will be transferred to the Provincial Councils.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We are going to settle the issue of the Ration Card in another way which is by transferring the allocations of the Ration Card to the local PCs,” noting that “Some PCs stated that they lack the administrative procedures and do not have the required stores to store the foodstuffs of the Ration Card.”
“Sometimes the government neglects this issue and other times we find some responses about it, but we are surprised over the ministries that did not cooperate with us over this issue,” he added.
He pointed out “The Committee thinks that the file of the Ration Card is not run by a certain side and there is a chaos in managing it.”
“We have to change the system of the Ration Card, but it depends on the cooperation of the Trade Ministry with the PCs especially those who do not have the required stores and experiences to run this file,” he concluded.
