MP rules out conducting amendment on Iraqi Constitution in current period

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali al-Timimi of the parliamentary Ahrar bloc ruled out conducting amendment on some of the Iraqi Constitution’s terms.

Timimi stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “I rule out conducting any amendment on some of the Constitution’s items in this period since the amendment requires referendum.”

It is worth mentioning that one of the demands of the western provinces’ demonstrations is to amend some items of the Iraqi Constitution.
