MP warns of deterioration of security situation in Makhmoor district

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of Taghyeer Parliamentary Bloc, Latif Mustafa Amin, warned that the security situation in Makhmoor district will be similar to the security situation in Tuz Khormato due to increase in violence and terrorist operations in the district recently.Amin reported in a press conference ”The increase of violent acts and terrorist operations warns of creating another Tuz Khormato in Makhmoor district where the terrorist activities aim at targeting Kurdish people in an attempt to arouse sectarian disputes among all sects.””The terrorist operations carried out by outlaws and armed groups in the disputed areas aim at stirring up disputes between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government so both of them will exchange accusations of failure in preserving security in the disputed areas,” he added.”The two Governments should cooperate and coordinate together to eliminate terrorism plots and stop all terrorist operations before it is too late to rescue the people who are being displaced from their houses or killed under the pretext of their affiliations or religions,” he concluded. \END\
