Mutleg calls to increase cooperation between Iraq, Japan
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, called to increase the cooperation between Iraq and Japan in all fields.
A statement by Mutleg’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Mutleg discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq the mutual relations and the means of developing them.’
“The two sides discussed the latest political updates in the region and their effect on the Iraqi internal situation in addition to the necessity of unifying the stances of the Iraqi political sides to settle the current disputes,” the statement added.
“For his part, the Japanese Ambassador assured the adherence of his country to develop its relations with Iraq, expressing his confidence over settling all the pending issues and obstacles in Iraq,” the statement pointed out.
“The Japanese Ambassador expressed the readiness of the Japanese companies to work on developing their economic activities in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
