Nechervan Barzani, Erdogan to meet in Ankara on Wednesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Tuesday that its PM, Nechirvan Barzani, will visit Turkey according to an official invitation by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A statement by the Kurdistan RegionG quoted Sami Arcoche, Barzani’s Media Secretary, as saying “Barzani will visit Turkey on Wednesday and will meet Erdogan at a formal meeting in Ankara .”

“The two sides will discuss the development of economic relations and trade and the issue of opening the joint border cross points as well as the issue of joint cooperation in the field of energy between the Region and Turkey,” he added, assuring that “They will also address the current situation in the region in general.
