Nijaifi congratulates Christians on Christmas

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, congratulated the Christians in the world and Iraq on the occasion of the Christmas.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi expressed his true wished to the Christians in the world and Iraq on the occasion of the Christmas, wishing them the happiness and the best living.”

The statement quoted Nijaifi, as saying “On this occasion, I would like to congratulate the Christians in Iraq who highly contributed in building the culture of Iraq and share the happy and sad moments with the other sects in Iraq.”

“I would also like to assure that we re doing our best to sustain security for the Christians in our precious country,” he concluded.
