Nijaifi, Italian Ambassador to Iraq discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Massimo Maruti, the Iraqi-Italian bilateral relations as well as the current crisis being suffered by Iraq.

The Parliament’s chairmanship reported on Monday that “Nijaifi received at his office in Baghdad, the Italian Ambassador where the two sides discussed enhancing the bilateral ties between both countries.”

“The meeting discussed the political and the security situations in Iraq and the tensions which negatively affected the general situation in the country,” the statement added.
