Nijaifi, Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq discuss enhancing bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq, Mohamed al-Qaraan, the Iraqi-Jordanian bilateral relations and the implications of the Iraqi and Syrian crises.

A statement by the Parliament’s chairmanship cited on Monday “Nijaifi received at his office in Baghdad, the Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq where they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries and means to develop them especially in the parliamentary issues.”

“The two sides also discussed the political situation in Iraq and the region especially the Syrian crisis and its ramifications on the region, in addition to reviewing the demands of the demonstrations being witnessed by some Iraqi cities and ways to meet them,” the statement concluded.
