Nijaifi, Kurdistan Premier discuss political situation in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi called during his meeting with Kurdistan Premier, Najervan Barzani, the Kurdish MPs to rejoin the parliament to take part in the legislative and supervisory process.

The Iraqi parliament has failed, over the past days, to hold its regular sessions due to the boycotting of the major blocs’ MPs including the Kurdistani Alliance, the Iraqiya Slate and the Iraqi National Alliance.

Nijaifi has received Barzani who arrived to Baghdad this afternoon on top of a senior delegation where they discussed the political situation in Iraq and the ramifications of the current crisis.
